I'm now a Mo/R17 at the first ascention mission, I always get flamed becuase I can't keep healing 8 different people who don't listen when I say "My Energy is 5 of 67" (or whatever my max is) and just run off anyway. They wonder why I can't heal them? I'm the only damned monk on their team!

I'm with _Zen_ on this one, I hate staring at red bars so I just smite. I have two healing skills total, and I only use them if people are about to die. Sure, a lot of people end up hating me for it... but then I smite the hell out of whatever was attacking them and they stop griping

Unyielding Aura can be captured in the Southeast corner of the region between the Copperhamer Mines and the Granite Citadel. It can also be captured East of Droknar's Forge, just North of Port Sledge (from a funny guy named Wupwup ).
The 30 second non-elite Vengeance can be bought from the skill trainer in Droknar's Forge. Vengeance is good for those times when you know people will die a massive number of times, so you can rez them and "throw them at the wolves" in a sense over and over, since you don't get DP.
Unyielding Aura is not meant to be an "always" Elite-- it's for those times when you just want to have fun or expect serious problems. For example, trying to do the Bonus on the Iron Mines of Moladune: there is a 100% chance that at least 1 member will miss the shouted "DO NOT JOIN IF YOU ARE NOT INFUSED" message you said 33 times, so UA is great to let them still help out but avoid a permanent 60% DP (and to get the fun of randomly killing them at funny times ).
*hopes he has started a wave of Monk UA hilarity*

There were many times as a healer when the party split up, you could see my poor healer running back and forth from one splintered party to the next.

Yep. When you're a monk, your skills and those 6 or 8 bars are all you see. I made a smiter, but I occasionally had to switch it up to go with healer (yeah, cause so many people go LFG SMITING MONK!!!!!1111shift+1one).

Wow. I had normally stuck to smiting... and I just tried healing. It's a whole different world out there. I didn't realize that you could go through an entire map zone without learning what kind of enemies were in that zone. Amazing that less monks don't go on bloodlusts though, considering that all they see is red. (Go ahead and slap me for the lame pun, I deserve it.)

Most of the time I discover I am being attacked by realizing that that is my own red bar that is going down, only to look at the screen and have many mobs on me, or perhaps a few warriors hacking away in PvP.
